MISSION:
Improve the appearance and operational condition of all University
Facilities and for enhancing the environment for quality academic programs.
Specific functions
performed by the department
Building Maintenance:To keep each building in
good appearance and usable
condition, and to prevent deterioration.
Custodial Services:To keep the buildings in
a clean and sanitary condition.
Utilities:To maintain and do minor
repairs to the production and distribution systems for electricity, steam heat,
hot and cold water, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and campus lighting.
Grounds:To upkeep all campus
proper lands including courts, patios, gardens, streets, pedestrian walkways,
irrigation systems, walls,
fences and fountains.
General Services:To provide services to
include garbage and trash disposal, hauling and moving heavy items, and manage the university vehicle fleet.
