This site was established to furnish the university community with greater access to the numerous resources and services that our office provides.

Our office is located in the Support Services Building.
The Environmental Health and Safety Office will provide administrative guidance for the university's Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Program. Through the efforts of the staff of this office, policies, plans and activities will be developed to ensure that facilities are up-to-date, safe, operate to the expectation of the facility users, and are in compliance with state and federal regulations.
The University Facilities Engineering and Planning Office will provide engineering recommendations and facilities planning services for the university.
The establishment and maintenance of an academic environment free of occupational hazards, and compliance with environmental regulations are both ethical and legal responsibilities of the University.
In this regard, the environmental health and safety program at Texas A&M University-Kingsville is managed by the Environmental Health & Safety Office, whose goals are to minimize occupational injuries to university employees, minimize personal injuries to the university community and to minimize losses and/or damage to university property.
The Environmental Health & Safety Office will strive to meet these goals through employee health and safety training, through on-site inspections and through compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations.
